I would punch Freddy Kruger in the face for an art direction job.
I almost wet my own pants while watching scary movies. But thinking about it, if some one told me I could work my dream job by taking a little trip down Elms Street I would go fearlessly like Thor on steroids with a lightning-power-hammer-of-doom.
Maybe it's from stories in books and movies but they have taught me that you should always pursue your dreams and what you are truly passionate about, and my passion is being creative.
I found that SCAD was the perfect place to nurture that creative drive and curiosity I've always had. I try to bring new ideas and smart creative problem solving to any job I have and I do that currently at SmithGifford as a Senior Art Director. One of the most important things I’ve learned from my work experience is how to be a team player. You learn something new with every project and every new person you work with and I embrace that.
I'm not afraid to go out of my comfort zone and get my hands dirty.
I'll be the go getter, the last one to leave, and the one to make sure that our work is seen as a labor of love.
I'm a passionate person that wants to love my job. I get consumed with whatever I'm working on, and I love that.
